Large website for the Engineering Council UK
The Engineering Council UK consists of 36 Engineering Institutes and is the regulatory body for the engineering profession in the UK. Their new website had to appeal to engineering professionals, providing them with a vast resource of information. It also is intended to encourage them to apply to become accredited engineers. The site had to meet a very high standard in terms of information architecture, dealing with something in excess of a hundred pages of detailed information.
The site is built on the latest Microsoft technology .Net, this provides increased functionality when connecting to a variety of information resources including, database, web services, XML and remote Sharepoint servers.
